Alamo Handyman was established by San Antonians for San Antonians. Established in 2007 by life-long friends, Ed Jewett and Roland Gonzales, Alamo Handyman has provided personalized, reliable service for homeowners across the city and surrounding areas for well over a decade.
After graduating from Jefferson High School together, Ed and Roland developed successful management and construction careers, respectively.
Through his business experience, Ed saw a need in the community for a reliable, trustworthy handyman and repair company in San Antonio. Independently, he began to research opportunities to purchase a franchise.

However, Ed wanted to provide San Antonio with unparalleled service at a reasonable price, and from his research, he knew that the constraints of a franchise would make this difficult.

When Ed discussed this with Roland, they realized that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself—so they decided to open an independently owned handyman service as a joint venture. And thus, Alamo Handyman was born.
Since being certified on August 9, 2007 as an LLC with the Texas Office of the Secretary of State, Alamo Handyman has grown exponentially. What started out as a small business with one handyman and a part-time customer service representative is now a regionally recognized service provider that provides repairs, remodels, and complete home overhauls. At Alamo Handyman, there is no job too small; we do it all!
