No Job Too Small!
We Do It All! Testimonials |

We
wanted to let you know how much we appreciate the job you guys did for
us. After trying to deal with another company who gave us an inflated
estimate (over three times what you did the work for!) and who kept
putting off scheduling our work, I called you desperate, needing the
job done fast. Even knowing that, you made your estimate reasonable,
did the work quickly, and your guys were true professionals. We're
ready for the baby's arrival thanks to you guys. We are planning on
moving next year and look forward to doing more business with you then.
We anticipate a long relationship with our new handymen. I
called and spoke to a receptionist and Ed called me back very quickly.
He said that on the type of job that I had described, they would charge
an hourly rate plus materials. Brian came out on the next day and
called around to locate the exact type of door that I wanted.... He
went to purchase the materials for the job and
installed the door as well as removed an ugly doggy door. He asked me
exactly how much I wanted him to finish
out the job as far as painting, which I liked since I still wanted to
pick paint color.... He put in insulation in the wall where the dog
door had been as well as around the door installation. He put new trim
inside and outside and fixed the threshold. He made sure my hardware
transferred over and worked correctly and even switched out a strike
plate that had been originally the wrong kind for the dead bolt. He was
very conscientious of making sure my dogs did not get out of the house
or yard as he worked. The work came with a guarantee also and he came
back the next week to readjust the door a little bit when it settled. I
hired Alamo Handyman as the result of their ratings on Angie's List.
They did a very professional job on the painting and installations.
Their employee went 'over and above' to fix a botched job by my granite
fabricator, in order to properly install the vessel sinks and make the
faucets fit. He made several trips to the plumbing supply company to
buy parts and was an excellent problem-solver. He was also just very
nice and agreeable. Alamo
Handyman came to my house and
gave me a detailed estimate. I chose this company because they were the
only one who actually came to my house instead of just guessing what
I needed over the phone. The hourly rate was comparable to the other
handyman companies in town. All the work was done quickly and to my
satisfaction.
The estimate was right on, and I felt like I got what I paid for. Ed
and the team was prompt in return my
initiating call. Ed came over in two days to make measurements. He was
fast, efficient. I received an email of his estimates shortly after
his visit to my house. They did the work in a timely manner and cleaned
up all the site impeccably. Two months after the door installation,
I noticed the front door handle was not properly installed. I called,
and Ed immediately sent one of his men to correct this problem. Ed and
his team
are respectful, pleasant, efficient. Everything
went very well. They gave me some time to pick out what materials I
wanted to use, but offered suggestions for where I could get the
materials for less so that we could do more and stay within the budget.
They did the job very quickly and were very good about cleaning up
after themselves. I would gladly use them again in the future. |
